HelloI am standing by my sink. Water is running and I am grasping the cold tile counter like a lifeline. I should be feeling anger, hatred, shame...something. Instead I just feel empty. Soulless. Like some great vacuum has come and and pulled my feelings away from me. And I’m left grasping at what I want to feel. What I wish I could cry about. I’m stuck in a world where the days pass quickly and I only eat when I’m starving or when people comment on how skinny I am. I can’t sleep either. The permanent shadows under my eyes have grown darker and I just can’t bring myself to care. With food comes no happiness. SleHello

Not seeing anyone in particular, I took one giant step to get from the dock to the swaying boat
beneath me. As my foot comes down I expect to feel the hard deck. Instead, there is nothing.
Grabbing onto the cold wet railing I catch myself and scramble onto the deck.
